Who We Are

Lakeview Urbanists is a grassroots neighborhood group started by residents who wanted to do more than complain about traffic, housing costs, and unreliable buses — we wanted to actually change things.

We're renters and homeowners, parents and young professionals, longtime residents and recent arrivals. What we share is a belief that Lakeview should be a place where anyone can afford to live, get around without a car, and feel at home on the sidewalk.

We run on volunteer energy, neighbor relationships, and a stubborn conviction that small, persistent effort adds up. No fancy office. No paid staff. Just people who show up.
